  • My Savior's Love

How deep the Father's love for us,
    How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
    Bring many sons to glory

Behold the Man upon a cross,
    My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,
    Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
    Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
    His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?
    I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

    * This song fits so well to the message we had at church today morning. And a song that has always had so much meaning to me since I heard it first time at CBS a yr. ago. So I thought I'd share it with you........
    Have a Happy Easter!!

  • Living on an Island......

.....for over a week already. Strange but it's true!! And we have the privilege to have all our friends with us...well actually the whole Spanish Lookout. And yes like all other Islands the only way to get off the Island or on it is by boat or plane. And most Islands would probably have salt water around them but we have "Chocolate Milk (Water)".
Yea it's the biggest flood I remember of experiencing. And it is actually kind a exciting. Since last week Fri. Oct. 19th we have had to get off Spanish Lookout by boat or plane mostly. But we are all safe and sound and none of our houses is flooded. Though some products have been getting scarce since the transportation can only be by boat.

  • My JOB

Hi Friends! I think it might be time to update again...!!??  And I thought this time I'd post some about my job etc. I started working 3 days a week in the office at Farmers Trading Center beginning of May. FTC is a store which has about everything we need. That's were we go for all our shopping. (The Belizian WalMart!!) Though the office is more like a bank (and some people even call it a bank). Yea so far I'm enjoying it very much!!

And some of the girls I work with though one of these stopped already and the other isn't on this picture.

He surrounds me with loving kindness and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.

About Me

  • I'm the oldest in a family of 7 children. I'm working at home among my family and 3 days a week in the office at Farmers Trading Center (some call it a bank) which is keeping me about busy. In case you didn't know...I love pictures and capturing God's awesome creation!! My prayer is that this blog would glorify God and be a reflection of what the Lord has done in my life--who is the strength of my life. "Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. Ps. 25:4-5"
